about us

Teach Aware is designed to be an adjunct to traditional schooling. We use geography to expand the minds and knowledge of the children. Our goal is to stimulate thought and curiosity. We are a science related program using geography to capture interest. We work to broaden understanding. We encourage discussion and team work. Our teaching involves activities,  discussions, field trips, projects and ideas. Our program takes the children around the globe. Discreetly, we attempt to improve the children’s communication skills, their ability to work together and help the children to develop an openness and tolerance of each other’s thoughts an ideas.

Statistics here in the Central California Valley point to a high poverty rate of one fourth of the population. There is a 37% poverty rate for children.

Fresno is one of the 5 least literate cities in the U.S.

Areas with poor literacy are of course accompanied by poor education and thus increased poverty.

We hope to make a small dent in these statistics.

OUR MISSION: TO OPEN THE MINDS OF OUR YOUTH.
